For decades the Format-4 system with double sided disposable planer knifes proved its advantages. Perfectly manufactured and adjusted in the factory, you do not have to adjust the planer knives and expensive aligning tools do not have to be purchased.

The cast iron bearing seats for the cutterblock can handle any sort of work with ease.
On request the machine can be equipped with rubber infeed and outfeed rollers, to accommodate very thin or varying height differences in workpieces.

4 Spindles with trapezoidal threads guarantee precise adjustment and allow the heaviest loads on the planer table. The table height adjustment guideways (A + B) also stabilize the table against lateral movement particularly in the outfeed ­direction.

Due to its extremely good design and large dimension, the dust extraction hood is very efficient. 2 spring loaded pressure bars prevent “fluttering” of very thin workpieces during planing.

On request: Adjustable integrated bed rollers for processing workpieces with either a high moisture or resin content.

On request we can deliver a spring loaded, segmented infeed pressure bar combined with infeed rubber roller for simultaneous processing of material of varying thickness.

Standard: infinitely variable infeed speed from 13–52 ft./min for any type of wood or grain pattern.

The massive 35“ planer table can be extended with a table extension on the outfeed side and an infeed roller. This will result in an over all length of 59“!

Turn the control switch for quick adjustment or fine adjustment is done with the push of a button. The LED display clearly shows the measurement.

Enter required dimension, press start and the planer table will move accurately to the required position. Required and actual values are shown on LED displays. Further functions: incremental function, 4 programmable planer table positions.

The planer table can, upon request, be extended by 45¼” (1150 mm) with a height-adjustable scissor table.
